SUPER STYLISH SUMMER DINNER PARTY

Summer is finally here and now its time to think about fun, friends, and awesome summer parties!

Today I want to feature some ideas for a fantastic summer dinner party, that will definitely wow your guests! 

    A theme that I love is a "TUSCAN DINNER"

First things first....... one of the most important things at a dinner party is the menu. You want to have a few different things to make your menu complete.

1. It is a very cool idea to have a signature drink for your party, in this case a Tuscan Spritzer is perfect.

2. For the Hors d'oeuvres try Pinziminio which translates to.......Raw Veggies served with olive oil, seasoned with sea salt and ground pepper, Marinated Olives, Warm Salted Almonds and Sliced Salami.

3. For the 1st course, a very simple Spaghetti with a White Clam  Sauce.

4. The 2nd course have a nice Sliced Steak with Radicchio and Parmesan on Arugula, Tuscan White Beans and Zucchini Fritters.

5. Last but definitely not least for dessert, serve Affogato (vanilla ice cream in hot espresso) and Biscotti and an Italian dessert wine. How Yummy does that sound!

       

          Next is the atmosphere.........find a nice area of your yard or  on your deck. Set up a bar with some bottles of wine and sparkling water with glasses for your guests. For extra ambiance, set up lanterns with candles inside around your deck or patio. This looks amazing as the sun goes down! Also be sure to scatter dishes of the Pinzimino, Marinated Olives, Sliced Salami and Warm Salted Almonds.........your guests will love to snack on these wonderful Hors d'oeuvres! 

     

 Set your Table in a light blue or yellow table cloth, with tea lights in sky-blue votive holders!

Your centerpiece can be super simple......just scatter fresh rosemary branches down the middle of table or even just a bowl of lemons would look beautiful! You could also put some Italian Bread with Olive Oil and garlic, for dipping.

I would suggest serving the meal family- style and be sure to serve dessert as soon as you put the hot espresso on the ice cream so it doesn't melt! For some added Italian flair you could throw on some Italian music, Some Dean Martin or Sinatra is always a great sound to set a nice atmosphere!

There You go! You can through together a fantastic summer dinner party just like that!
