Happy Cinco de Mayo! The Healthy Way!












Today I am going to get in the spirit and celebrate Cinco de Mayo! Tacos that consist of sour cream, lots of cheese and,guacamole! Oh, and don't forget the margaritas!

I know what you are thinking. How is she going eat all that yummy, fattening stuff on Weight watchers!


Well, normally I would just say, "I don't care, I am going to eat what I want and then I will start my diet tomorrow!"

Now I have a different mindset. I don't need to start tomorrow, I just have to make all the good stuff not so healthy stuff, healthy!

Yes, it can be done with any food. Just make a healthy option of the foods you love!

I do this on my own sometimes, but a lot of the time, I search the web or ask around for healthy versions of my favorite foods.

I am a huge fan of Bethenny Frankle. If you visit her website, www.bethenny.com, she has a ton of "healthy version" recipes including everything I mentioned above!

You don't have to deprive yourself just because you want to eat healthy!

Now go and eat what you want, just make it a "healthy version"!
