Clean House, Happy Me!

Spring cleaning is underway at my residence! I have been so busy cleaning the cobwebs out of my head from the gloom of winter, I haven't had a chance to do the actual spring cleaning in my house!

This is no regular cleaning that is taking place, no sir, it's actually a complete clean out and renovation of our home! I mean we are getting rid of everything, that is if we haven't see it or used it in the last six months, its gone!

I truly believe that this will help with the whole life renovation thing that's going on here.

This is what I'm thinking....

If your house is cluttered and in shambles, how does it make you feel? I know for myself, it makes me feel awful! We have accumulated so much "stuff " in the past six years, I can't take it anymore! It seems that nothing has a place anymore.

As soon as the snow was all gone, I called, had a dumpster delivered and declared to my family, "Anything you want to keep, you better put in a safe spot because we are cleaning house!"

We have been doing great and everyone is on board! This is already feeling better!

As soon as the basement is completely empty, we are going to finally make that living room that we have been talking about since the day we bought the house!

I vowed that 2011 was going to be a great year! By revamping how I think, taking action, and actually doing things instead of just talking about doing things, I am making it happen (of course with the help of my wonderful family).

My plan, when everything is cleaned out, reorganized, repainted and remodeled, we are going to have a huge party to celebrate! We'll celebrate friends, family and everything else we are thankful for in our lives!

I love this positive thinking stuff! What a great feeling when you finally start to see results from your actions! LOVE IT!
