Choose Wisely

I have been doing pretty good on my weight loss. This week I didn't lose, but I didn't gain either! I am OK with this. There were a few occasions that I probably, no I definitely went over my points.
In my mind I was thinking the worst as I went up to that scale at the meeting. I was just waiting for the woman behind the table to drop the bomb. She didn't say anything! She just stated that I was all set and made sure I was staying for the meeting.
I was actually pleasantly surprised when I looked at the weight she wrote, I noticed that I had stayed EXACTLY the same! I'll take it! I kind of look at this as a buy week. I totally lucked out!
Let me share with you one of my dilemmas of the past week.
I absolutely love root beer! Especially the kind in the real bottles. So good, right? You might not realize this, as I didn't, the calories and carbs and all that great stuff that makes us fat if we don't watch it, wholly molly! Lets just say there is a lot of that stuff in one drink! Who would have thought a drink could be such a culprit in hindering a weight loss!
Example I could have One bottle of root beer
Equal to 7 WW Points
OR
A whole bunch of fruit which is equal to zero WW points!
Hmmm I am going to play it safe and take the fruit from now on!
