Rise and Shine


As you all know I am trying to get healthy, and live well. I have been doing good following the Weight Watchers program. I have also been noticing myself making better food choices, although hard at times, I will try to make the best choice.

The other part of getting healthy, of course, is exercise. So how is that going you ask? Ya, Ummm, not so good. I have definitely been slacking in the fitness area.

But that's OK, because I have a good friend, Sarahviz, over in The Trenches of Mommyhood, (You should check her out http://www.sarahviz.com/). My friend Sarah inspired me to get my butt up at the crack of dawn, while everyone in the house is still sleeping, and make time for myself.........so that's what I did! At 6:00 this morning, guess where I was. I was on the treadmill at the gym! It felt AWESOME! (Thanks for the inspiration Sarah!)

While I was exercising, I organized and thought through and figured out exactly how my day would go. What a way to start the day! Another big step toward living well! I can't wait to go again tomorrow!

  2. I am happy you got inspired! Me, I am still not feeling it. But then again to exercise in the morning I would have to get up at 4:45 to get to work on time -and I just have a mental block against getting up in the 4's!
