"I want to be skinny now!"

Today was Weight Watchers Weigh in day! I am happy to say that I have had a weight loss again this week! For the second week in a row I have lost just about 2 pounds!
When they announce this in the meeting everyone claps, the meeting leader seems so proud. This is a good thing. They say that the average "healthy" way to lose weight is 1 to 2 pounds a week. That is what I have been doing.
If this is such a great thing then why on earth do I having such a rotten time with it? I'll tell you why, because I am so impatient! This is what I do to myself and then I wonder why I never get to where I want to be.
I should be happy that I am losing weight consistently and in a healthy way. This is one of the changes I am trying to make in my life. My mind is my own worst enemy sometimes.
Like everything in life, including a healthy weight loss, it takes time to change a habit, especially one you have had for what seems like forever. My habit is being negative, I want to change it.
To help me on my journey to being positive, happy, and healthy, I have been reading some inspirational books. Some of my favorites are, The Secret, By Rhonda Byrne. She also wrote The Power which is an extension of the first book. I also love anything by Dr Wayne Dyer, he is very inspirational and has some stuff out on DVD too!
Recently, I just started reading a book by my favorite "Skinnygirl," Bethenny Frankel (you know, the one who makes those delicious Skinnygirl margaritas). The title, A Place Of Yes, and so far I love it!
She is very inspiring and tells it just like it is, no holds bar! She is a very "Real" person and that's what I love about her.
For now I am going to keep on trucking and working hard to get where I want to be in life!
I am going to be healthy, happy, and definitely skinnier!
Love Much, Live Well,
Michelle xoxo
